CONTEXT: I'm someone who's overcome MDD with a simple reminder system that I want to share with people 100% for FREE.

I know how time-consuming MDD can be (walking around in a closed room while listening to music for hours on end), how you don't want to tell people what you're going through because you're embarrassed about the imaginary scenarios you find yourself consumed by, how it's always there in your mind, and how your lack of control over it makes you feel weak.

I get it. I've been there. It sucks.

None of us asked for this, but it's something we have to deal with.

-----

This launch list serves two purposes:

  1. To help me understand whether this is something that'll actually help other people the way it has for me.

  2. To gather people who are interested in using the software as soon as it's ready.

----

By joining this launch list you'll get:

  1. Periodic updates from me regarding the progress I'm making with the tool.

  2. Access to the beta-version(s) of the software to test it.

  3. The ability to provide me with feedback so that I can include the feature(s) you want.

  4. A FREE weekly newsletter sharing tips and tricks to help deal with MDD.

I'm going to brand the software as a mindfulness tool, but the features will be mostly geared towards beating MDD.

I'm doing this because I don't want people to feel weird about using the tool - I know I wouldn't want someone to see that I have an alcohol recovery app downloaded on my phone, so this approach won't give you an anxiety attack if someone goes through your phone for whatever reason lol.

By the way, you can call me Mr. A.

I'm gonna remain anonymous to build this tool, as will you if you decide to use it - in fact, I recommend you create a separate email account to sign up for this launch list and to use the tool in the future. I want to keep all of our identities as private as possible because I know MDD isn't something I'd want people to know I deal with.

Not trying to strengthen the stigma, just trying to make using the tool as comfortable as possible so that you can use it to beat MDD!

If you actually read this entire message, you're probably a very kind and patient person, and I thank you for that.
